One of the things that my town lacks is a leather bar. Aside from a little Halloween action and some occassional parties with a touch of flamboyance and kink, if you get off on the fantasy of tough men, if you like a little fantasy, you are out of luck. I’ve been to some pretty exciting places when traveling in the “big cities”, and I’ve been to some pretty bad (as in lame) places too.

Anyway, every so often I get a taste for this kind of thing. Do you? I’m never really totally sure how I feel about it, and I think the ambivalence is part of what attracts me. I think I’m just hoping to meet a certain lind of man. Someone who is genuinely tough, but who has enough intelligence and awareness to play with me and not hurt my spirit - to dominate me physically but not assault my mind with the type of games that gay men so often play against each other.

I also think I want to BE that kind of man for other men - to be someone who is intense and overwhelming and massculine and expecting of submission, expecting the other to serve my pleasure. As I said, I feel ambivalent.
